I was born in China, I received my B.S. degree in Materials Science and Engineering from University of Liaoning Technical University, and M.S./Ph.D. degree in Nonferrous Metallurgy from University of Northeastern University. I worked at Soochow University. I joined Dunand research groups as a visiting scholar funded by the China Scholarship Council. My work is focused on novel preparation and mechanical property investigation of metallic foams. There is some typical work I have conducted. (1) Pack-rolling preparation of aluminum foam sandwich panels by powder metallurgy (2) Static mechanical property investigation and deformation of aluminum foam sandwich panels. (3) Preparation and properties of Al/Ti MMC foam by spark plasma sintering. At Northwestern University, I will produce Ti MMC foam by 3D ink printing. I enjoy traveling, swimming, and skating.
