I was born and raised in Beijing, China and got a degree of bachelor of engineering from Beihang University (BUAA), Beijing. At Beihang, my research mainly focus on two areas: high-temperature phase stability in Ni-based alloys, and first-principle simulation of 2D materials based on DFT. My hobbies include basketball, soccer, etc.

My research in Northwestern is coarsening study of Co-Ni-W-Al-Ti Alloy via SEM. Evolution of microstructure is scrutinized as a function of time under high temperature, which eventually gives us the change in mechanical properties, which is crucial for the reliability of the material.
